The m-DAR DC is a custom, purpose built transportable data center that can be used for disaster recovery, storage, and all-around data protection needs. The high performance data center is built for mission critical applications and can be deployed anywhere, while maintaining the security of the data that has been stored on it.

The unit can provide up to 96 TB of storage and can be configured to include a network switch to provide an instant local area network. The m-DAR DC provides up to 14U of rack space, and can accommodate up to 96 1TB SATA drives for maximum storage capacity.

If less than the 14U of space is used for storage, the m-DAR can be customized to include such options as a tape library or LCD display. The m-DAR can also be used on a wireless network, providing data management and storage, with the case closed, in extremely harsh environments.

For rugged transportability, the m-DAR DC is suspended in a shock resistant self shipping module with removable casters for ease of site mobility. A shock resistant, ruggedized aluminum case houses the internal electronics and devices. When closed, the m-DAR is airtight, and includes a pressure relief valve and gasketing hardware.

With the m-DAR DC, Cutting Edge brings a seamless integration of hardware, server, and software that provides agencies and enterprises with replication, backup, migration, and individual file-level recovery utilizing large capacity disk drives.
