The Mini Mobile Data and Acquisition Recovery (Mini m-DAR)

Custom engineered 1 terabyte Network Attached Storage unit for field use. The requirements were that the unit had to be able to withstand shock and vibration and also operate in a 130°F environment. Cutting Edge met the challenge with a custom enclosure, shock mounted components and specially engineered cooling. The unit's dimensions had to be compatible with a storage safe when not in use. Anti-virus and special security features were also incorporated into the EdgeWare OS to protect the storage from intrusion, modification and virus attacks.
